About the School of Liberal Arts
The school of Liberal Arts, Mae Fah Luang University, has four principal missions pertaining to humanities and social sciences: teaching, researching, academic services, and conservation of arts and culture. To fulfill its teaching mission, the school serves the entire body of students in the fields of general education, languages (e.g., Thai, Chinese and English), and social sciences (e.g., philosophy, social studies, cultural studies, psychology, environmental issues, political science, and physical education).
Undergraduate Programs
1. Bachelor of Arts (English)
This program primarily aims to develop graduates to be proficient in English as well as skillful in operating internationally utilized information technology systems; to think, put ideas into practice, and solve problems; to be capable of developing sustainable autonomous learning; and to maintain professional ethics in order to propel the nation towards comprehensively sustainable development and towards an international role.

2. Bachelor of Arts (Thai Language and Culture) – for non-Thai students only
Specially for non-Thai speakers, this program produces graduates who possess knowledge, ability and skills in using Thai as a medium of enhancing intercultural understanding through studying Thai customs, traditions, and lifestyle by means of learning Thai in various contexts, for increased Thai-language competency and understanding of Thai culture.
